The Mood Alert Index does not represent orthodox astrology. However there are resemblances.The main one is the belief that we as humans are fundamently affected by celestial forces.

Unlike astrology our index is not assessed according to birth dates but addresses those influences that affect us all in broadly similar ways. For this we look to the phases of the Moon, Solar eruptions, as well as eclipses and planetary alignments. Based on this evidence we make a judgement leading to the release of our index alert number.
